Dosage Guide

The question I get more than any other.

"How do I take kratom?" There are many ways to ingest kratom, and they all work. All kratom works best on an empty stomach. Even with zero tolerance, kratom has little to no effect on a full stomach. This is a testament to the low ceiling I've mentioned before.

First and foremost, BUY A DIGITAL SCALE. These can be purchased at any head shop, but preferably online. You can purchase kratom in capsules online, but you're also paying for labor and capping.

Capsules: Very common method of consumption. Easy, clean and effective. Any capped kratom will label their per capsule weight. It may seem excessive, taking several large pills. But, three grams of plain leaf is a minimum dose to actually feel the affects. If you're taking extracts, stay around one to two grams. Only drawback, is it will take longer to feel the affects. Your stomach has to digest the cap first.

Toss n' wash: My personal method of consumption. Purchasing loose kratom is also cheaper than caps. It does require a digital or postal scale. Weigh out your dose. Take a non carbonated drink (trust me) and hold a small mouthful. Dump your dose down the hatch, shake your head vigorously, and down it like a shot. Using juice high in acidity will also assist in breaking down the goodies. (Oj, grapefruit ect)

Kratom Tea: I recommend brewing tea for petiole with weak stomachs. But, I know tons of folks who enjoy kratom tea similar to drinking a good cocktail. It requires more time than any other method however. It can be bagged and made much like any tea. The neatest method I've found, is a coffee pot. Put 8-10 grams in a coffee filter. Make a quarter pot, as normal. Then, run another quarter pot through. After the second run, take a cheese cloth or additional filter and squeeze out what you can. This is key. You'll lose a lot of the goodies otherwise. Be forewarned, it's AWFUL. Try agave nectar, or milk and sugar.

Mix and Mash: If you don't have the time for tea, many people will mix their kratom into other things. The two most common are apple sauce and yogurt. If you can't stomach tea or pills, this is your last alternative.
